"Tell me more about Boomerskids?" ...."Boomerskids is the on-line division of Boomers Children's Boutique in Tucson, AZ since 1991. We are a family-owned business dedicated to providing wonderful casual and dresswear for children at affordable prices and boutique service. 2. "Do you have a catalogue or store in my hometown?" ...."Not Yet! Boomers is currently based only in Tucson, AZ. While we are examining the possibility of a future catalogue, BoomersKids is continually trying to bring you a large selection of our constantly growing & changing inventory. ____________________________________________ II. Product/Sizing 1. "How do I know what size to order? Is there a size chart?" ...."While we don't have a standard size chart (each line & designer has their own sizing specifics) we do offer a series of measurements that may help you in your selection. Our inventory is so large and varying that we keep standard measurements on only a few styles. We encourage you to call us, however, and we can offer you sizing reccomendations on all the various groups, including most importantly the overall garment length, chest and waist. 2. "What do the sizes S, M, L and XL correspond to in the children's clothing?" ...."Many of our infant styles are listed as S, M, L or XL. These correlate directly to 3/6mo through 24 mo (S=3/6mo, M=12mo, L=18mo and XL=24mo.) 3. "Where can I go to see your products in person?" ...."Other than our store in Tucson, we have no idea! In addition to carrying our own designs and private label, we have searched far and wide to offer unique "boutique" lines that you don't find other places. 4. "I'm interested in matching Mother Daughter dresses. Where do I find the matching child's outfit?" ...."All the matching child's dresses will also be featured on our Infant Dresses or Toddler & Girl's Dresses pages on-line as well as through the link on the Mother Daughter page. It's also important to note that although many of the women's dresses have an "identical" child's version, there are also many other children's dress styles that coordinate wonderfully. We try to cite a few of these in the description as well! And of course, you can always call us for a reccomendation on complimenting styles, colors and accessories. _______________________________________________ III. Ordering Information 1. "How Do I order from BoomersKids?" ...."We offer several easy ways to place an order. On-line, by e-mail (we need to have payment info on file), by phone (520)323-2441 or by FAX (520)325-0040. 2. "How do I order the accessories shown in the picture with the outfit?" ...."Most of the accessories pictured are also available through our stores. If the item is not included as part of the outfit in the product description then you can usually find them on The Accessories Page on-line. Because we feature such a comprehensive selection of accessories, however, we may not have the item on-line. Our in-store Boomers help will be delighted to answer your questions and provide you with ordering information over the phone (520)323-2441! 3. "What if I don't see the right size or colors available in a style I like. Does this mean it isn't available?" ...."Not necessarily! We carry many items in-store that aren't featured on-line. If we get down to a piece or two of a size or style it's availability may be pulled off-line. By calling the store, we may be able to find you the exact color or size you need to ship! 4. "I have a discount certificate for BoomersKids? How do I use it? ...."To receive your discount on your order, simply include your "gift certificate" # and amount in the "Customer Comments" section of the on-line order form. Although the discount will not be reflected on the order total, we will take the deduction when processing your order! 5. "I have purchased from BoomersKids before. How do I take advantage of my "Friend of Boomers (FOB)" discount when ordering? ...."Don't forget to remind us you are an "FOB" when you place your order (use the "Customer Comments" section of the on-line order form). We will be sure to deduct your 10% discount when processing the order! If you just signed up for our mailing list or newsletter,you are also eligible for this special 'FOB" Discount. Again, alert us to your "FOB" status when placing your order. ___________________________________________________ IV. Shipping Information 1."How much is shipping?" ...."Free! We offer complimentary standard shipping within the U.S. Faster 2nd Day and Next Day pay options are also available. (2nd Day-$15, Nxt Day-$25) *Please note that Free Shipping pertains only to orders placed here, through www.boomerskids.com or by phone and shipped within the USA. 2."How quickly do items ship? Do the availability times relate to shipping out or delivery? ...."Most of our items are in-stock and can ship out within a day or two by Postal Service Priority 2-3 Day Air. If we are out of an item, it usually adds a few days to the shipping process. Each outfit also has a listed availability time range. This relates to the average minimum to maximum shipping out period. Some of our specialty and special order items take a bit longer as do items in production or backorder. While we try to get out orders the same day, we occasionally get backed-up. Be sure to let us know if you have special dating that we need to meet! And you can also always call us for specific shipping availability of an item (520)323-2441. 3. "I need a dress for this coming weekend. Will I get it in time?" ...." We'll certainly do our best but you can help by doing a few simple things: Call for item availability, Order by guaranteed 2ndDay or Next Day Air and be sure to let us know of your special dating needs. We aim to please! ___________________________________________________ V. Returns/Exchanges 1. "What if I get an item and need to return it?" ...."No problem. Simply re-package the item and send it back within 10days in new condition with a copy of your receipt and intent to return/exchange,etc... to Boomers, 3601 E. Broadway #115, Tucson, AZ 85716. When we receive the return we can either send you an exchange, or a credit towards another purchase. 2. "I need to exchange a dress but I need the new one right away. What do I do?" ...."To expedite the return/exchange process, we reccomend you re-order the proper item (online,by phone, fax or e-mail). When we get your return we will refund you the original item. 3. "What if I'm sent the wrong item? Will you re-imburse me the shipping to send it back?" .... "You bet! If you receive a size or item that you didn't order, let us know right away and we'll get the proper order to you. To return the other item(s), simply re-package and send to Boomers 3601 E. Broadway #115, Tucson, AZ 85716, with a copy of receipt and small note of problem. So that we can re-imburse you the cost of this return shipping, we reccomend you ship back by Postal Service Priority Air. They will stamp the shipping cost on the package which will allow us to process the appropriate shipping refund amount when we receive it back _____________________________________________________ VI. Wholesale 1."Do you sell wholesale and how do I get your pricing, quantity and line information? ...."Yes, we do wholesale. "How far ahead do we need to order to receive wholesale goods?" ...."We offer wholesale pricing on immediate goods (based on availability) as well as orders for coming seasons. ______________________________________________________ VII. Model Search 1."Where do you get the Models featured on your site?" ...."All of BoomersKids Models have been selected from local or web-based model searches that we regularly conduct. Local Arizona models are encouraged to come to our store, Boomers and fill out an application for one of our many seasonal fashion shows or photo shoots. Our seasonal on-line model search allows models not based in the area to also have the opportunity to be included on BoomersKids on-line "catalogue!" 2."What do you look for in a Boomers & BoomersKids model?" ..."Energy, enthusiasm and lots of personality! Our models range from 4 months old to pre-teen. We even feature several women models in our Mother Daughter shows. Although we don't yet feature boy models on BoomersKids we do have opportunities in our fashion shows for "little gentlemen.' While we've found that some experience is helpful forthose applying for photo mode;ling, model personality and photographer also play a vitally important role. With runway/fashion show models we've found that even the most inexperienced models can light up the room when they get "on-stage!" 3."How do I submit an application for my child?" ...."It's as simple as logging onto BoomersKids.com, Model page. Print out the on-line application and mail it in with a non-returnable photo (you can also e-mail.) If you're in the Tucson area, stop by our store to fill out an application! In-store applications are available and considered seasonally. On-line models are considered monthly. (We've even had some cross-over of selected on-line models who've come to Tucson to do some location photo shoots! (This of course is certainly not required!) 4."What happens if my child is selected as a model?" ...."We'll notify you by e-mail or phone. If your child is a BoomersKids Model then you can expect an outfit and photo shoot instructions in the mail within a few weeks of selection. If you're local, we'll be giving you a call to set up fittings. You can also log onto the BoomersKids Models page to see selectees and shoot info. |
